Terms and Conditions (T&C)
Hostel Lekkerurlaub, Graefestraße 89, 10967 Berlin
By making a booking at Hostel Lekkerurlaub, the guest accepts the following terms and conditions:
1. Contract Conclusion
A booking becomes binding for both parties as soon as Hostel Lekkerurlaub confirms the reservation.
The contract is concluded in written form, including electronic declarations of intent.
The contractual partners are the hostel and the guest. If a third party makes the booking, they are jointly liable with the guest as co-debtors.
Subletting or transferring the room to third parties is prohibited. If additional persons use the room, the guest must notify the hostel in advance. The guest and any third party involved are liable for damages caused by unauthorized transfer.
2. Room Provision
A claim to a specific room exists only if explicitly confirmed in writing.
Check-in: Between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
Reserved rooms must be occupied or confirmed by 6:00 PM on the day of arrival. Without confirmation, the reservation expires. If a late arrival is planned, the hostel must be informed at least one day before arrival by email or phone.
3. Liability, Loss, and Damage
The hostel is liable for the proper provision of booked services. Deficiencies must be reported to the hostel immediately so a solution can be found.
The guest is liable for damages, destruction, or excessive contamination of the room or furnishings. In such cases, compensation equivalent to the replacement value is due. If the room becomes unrentable as a result, the guest is also liable for further damages.
The hostel assumes no liability for the loss or damage of personal belongings and is not obligated to guard or store them. If the room key is lost, a replacement fee of €53.00 is due immediately.
4. Prices and Payment Terms
The agreed prices include legal taxes (VAT and City Tax). A correct tax invoice will be issued on-site.
If more than four months elapse between booking and arrival, and the hostel's general operating costs increase (e.g., wages or energy costs), the hostel may raise the price by up to 15%. In this case, the guest has the right to cancel the booking.
If the guest requests changes (e.g., number of rooms, length of stay), the price may be adjusted accordingly.
Payment methods: Cash, credit card, or EC card at check-in. Invoices are due immediately and without deduction within five days. In case of late payment, the hostel is entitled to charge default interest of five percentage points above the European Central Bank's base rate.
5. Cancellation Policy
Individual Bookings:
Free cancellation up to three days before arrival. From three days before arrival, the full amount is due and non-refundable.
Group Bookings (from five people):
31 to seven days before arrival: 50% of the total amount will be charged. From seven days before arrival: 100% of the total amount will be charged.
Booking of all rooms:
Free cancellation up to 90 days before arrival; after that, 100% cancellation fees apply.
6. Use of Reserved Rooms
Reserved rooms are available to the guest from 11:00 AM on the arrival day and until 11:00 AM on the departure day.
A late check-out may be arranged in advance, subject to availability.
If a late check-out is approved, the hostel may charge a fee of €10.00 per started hour.
Departures after 12:00 PM will be charged the full daily room rate.
There is no legal right to a late check-out.
7. Pets
Bringing pets is only allowed with prior written approval from the hostel.
The pet must always be supervised, healthy, and not pose a danger to other guests or staff.
Pets are not allowed to sleep in hostel beds.
A fee of €5.00 per night applies.
Exception: Guide dogs, hearing dogs, and other service animals may accompany guests free of charge at any time.
8. Minors
Minors may stay at Hostel Lekkerurlaub without adult supervision. However, this requires: A booking by a parent, Prior contact between a parent and the hostel staff, Presentation of a travel authorization/consent form from the parents More information: Parental Consent Form
9. Parking
The hostel has no private parking spaces. Parking is only possible on the street.
The hostel is located in Berlin’s environmental zone. A green emissions sticker is required for vehicles.

10. Data Protection

11. Severability Clause
If any provisions of these T&C are invalid, the validity of the remaining contract remains unaffected.
