Our location

Our hostel is located in downtown Berlin, within the S-Bahn ring and yet far away from the well-trodden paths of the tourists. The central location between the trendy clubs of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg and the former Tempelhofer Feld airport - by the way one of the largest inner city open spaces in the world - is the perfect starting point for discovery tours to all the well known sights of the city. The subway station Schönleinstraße is only a 5 minutes walk away, the ride with underground line 8 to Alexanderplatz takes less than 10 minutes.

The Graefekiez, the area around Graefestraße at Kreuzberg, borders at the hip district of Neukölln. The neighbourhood is characterised by beautiful 19th century houses, a rather mixed population, nice cafés and bars, many small new shops, interesting galleries and restaurants. The Landwehr Canal with its banks Maybach and Paul Lincke Ufer is only a stone's throw away. Here you can sit relaxed on the shore.

Or how about a steamboat trip? One of the stations of Riedel shipping company is just around the corner. If you feel more adventurous, you can rent our rubber dinghy. On Tuesdays and Fridays the weekly market invites you to stroll, to smell and taste the whole world at Maybachufer. On Saturdays, you can buy fabrics and handicrafts at the market. And every 2nd Sunday the Nowkoelln Flowmarkt offers second-hand fashion, art, music and handicrafts.
